After a sweltering night of acapella singing by the plethora of campus groups, Bowdoin's original acapella group closed the semester's first show with a bang. The meddies kicked off their 70th year with the classic "Collegiate", sung by Dave Yee. Though somewhat confused by Dave's ambiguous hand waving antics, the audience was left in awe of his perfectly tied double windsor. Following Yee's fashionably fabulous performance, Bernardo Guzman took the stage and, after a swift kick to the groin, belted out Beck's Debra which left the ladies in the audience in tears and strangely attracted to Marvin Gaye. Apparently freshmen gents are already lining up around moulton in anticipation of the pending auditions on monday and tuesday at 9.
