Chris is a local boy, born and raised in Brunswick, Maine and educated at the prestigious Phillips-Exeter Academy in Exeter, New Hampshire. Chris was able to gain admission to the highfalutin prep school by cleverly quipping, “Exeter? I was never in her!” during his interview. By incorporating this specific wordplay into each of his essays, he was able to maintain a C- average and graduate in six short years.
While others refer to him “A-Wall” because of his last name, the Meddies refer to him as “AWOL” because he is frequently Absent Without Leave from practices before storming in ten minutes late, cursing under his breath about the most recent failure of his beloved New York Yankees or Jets. This evokes little sympathy because many of the Meddies are Red Sox and Patriots fans, and because Tim doesn’t known what baseball is.
Normally mild and well-mannered, Chris is known to have spastic conniptions when playing Madden NFL on XBox. Once, after a late-game fumble, Chris attempted to strangle fellow Meddie Yong Soo Chung with his controller cord. It was after this incident that the Meddies had an intervention with Chris, telling him that his addiction to video football was leading him down the perilous path to becoming Jon. Realizing his “problem” had caused him to hurt those dearest to him, Chris broke down and hugged Yong Soo. Because he did not notice being attacked in the first place, this made Yong Soo confused and uncomfortable.
